Well, this is awkward, but here it goes. We are looking for a new ticketing system. We do not want to move to Spiceworks cloud because there is no Multi Factor Auth. We do not want to pay top dollar, its not justifiable. I feel a little clueless, ticketing systems don’t get me up in the morning, I was wondering if anyone had some opinions?

We use freshservice, it can integrate with O365 and supports MFA, it’s relatively cheap for the basic ticketing level
Depending on the size of your org OTRS could fit your needs. Very customizable with MFA support and free, also paid plans with extended support and hosted services.
But beware…its huge and very complex if you want to dive deep. Sutable for orgs above 500 users i’d say.

Please look into the thread of the EOL announcement for the legacy edition . It contains replies by various Spiceheads to which solution they intend to migrate. There are cloud based and on-premise targets, commercial and free mentioned.

We use Freshdesk with Google Workspace SSO. Has been working like a treat for a few years.
