So, after what was effectively a 3 days outage, Time Warner sends me a survey, asking us to describe how Time Warner has improved our business processes.
I had to answer them honestly:
“TWC has motivated me to master designing business networks to effectively utilize multiple wan connection to achieve business continuity during provider failures.”

More like suck for him.
I somehow doubt they’ll understand the true meaning of that feedback.

No. I think they will get it. Im just not sure how much they will care now that they are getting bought out by Comcast.
I guarantee they won’t care.

I doubt they would have cared before that, either.
I’m very curious about how things will shake out.
TWC is very hit and miss.
I’ve had really good service from them, and it’s been abysmal at times.
Lots of people have negative opinions about both companies, and they often are based on consumer account experiences.
Comcast has fairly crappy consumer customer service.
I’ve never had a problem with their tech or repair departments though.
I’ve had Comcast roll a truck on a Sunday more than once due to line quality issues.
Mind you, that’s about 10 accounts over a 5 year period.

I’m pretty sure all cable providers have the same motto. “Here at your cable company, we don’t care, because we don’t have to. :)”

That really wasn’t mean enough… a PHB might read that and think it’s an endorsement.

my thought exactly. the people installing and servicing are not the same ones reading the comments…
