I know we can get in person training for our staff if we chose to go with Spiceworks but I need to get our folks up to speed so we can get our testing ready.

Here’s what I’d like to do:

  1. Train the help desk staff on all aspects of the help desk function
  • Web App
  • Email commands
  • Android App (we’re all Android right now)
  1. Train our test bed of users on submitting tickets
  • We’re only going to use email for now

What I’d like to see and I’m just not finding it is a FAQ for both the staff and users that I can send folks now and then come up with my own presentation on the high points for the staff.

Users will have to wait until the staff knows whats going on

You will see videos specific to features in SW you can train them on.

From there if you want more advanced training I would suggest one of the SpiceWorks Universities nearest you.

Rivitir is a new trainer and right up the road from us so hopefully we’ll be able to get him over here if we decide to fully implement the help desk feature.

Mike, you can contact university@spiceworks.com and Nicole can work with you and your local SpiceTrainer to do in-house training for you. You can get the same great training right in your house. You do need a minimum number of folks, but that can all be worked out with Rivitir and SpiceU.

Thanks Jim…we are not quite ready for live yet but if we decide to go that way, we’ll look at sending folks to a class nearby or if we can swing it, host one here.
