Hello,

I have two clients sharing the same office and internet service. I have it setup currently where Client 1’s network is connected to X1 on the Sonicwall and Client 2’s network is setup on X2. They are both running Windows Server 2012 R2 with a mixture of Win7 and Win10 machines.

Client 1 currently uses the Windows Server 2012 R2 for their VPN and all works well.

Client 2 wants to have the same VPN access.

1 - Is it possible?

2 - If so, please push me in the right direction.

Thanks

Correct me if I am wrong, are you trying to use the same connection and using an IPSec VPN on each server for remote access? if that is so, what you will need to have each on separate Internet Connections. Even if you use the same ISP, if you have multiple static IP addresses then that should work fine with proper routing.
If you only have one static IP address for Internet, then you won’t be able to accomplish what you want.

He is correct.

Thank you, both.

I pretty much figured this was the case but, technology changes all the time so I thought I might as well throw it out there.

Thx

You can still accomplish this. The VPN connection will need to route to both networks, but you’ll have to configure user groups that only allow each client to access the specific netwotk they are supposed to be able to get to. So technically they will have a route to the network they shouldn’t have, but as long as your zone rules are set right, the SonicWALL will block the disallowed path.
