I seem to have hit a brick wall trying to troubleshoot scanning W10 issues. It’s very hit or miss trying to get W10. Rarely will they scan successfully without tweaking various firewall/configuration settings. W7 devices never had a problem. I’ve tried all the suggested troubleshooting steps to no avail. Help!

Thanks!

David

Why have you created a new topic for an existing problem, people are happy to help but not chase you round Spiceworks to fix your issues.

Stick to one post please for the same issue.

Also the search function, while not great will supply you many answers.

If you use a third party firewall on the client devices I need to know which.

You said on your other post, they are Wi-Fi devices - on the corporate side of the network, not a guest/segregated network?

I also notice my post was linked on the previous page - so what does the ports open say during a scan, what ports does it find?

Thanks for your help Rod-IT. I’ll update in the original post to keep everything in one place.
