when I try to open webpages in firefox I get this error message:

"This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.google.com , but we can’t confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site’s identity can’t be verified.

What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn’t continue.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)"

it happens on all machines in the network and doesnt happen with other browsers such as chrome and opera. we do not have a proxy server or firewall our we have server 2008 DCs and windows 7 sp1 clients. we need firefox to open certain web applications (such as wix) any help would be greatly appreciated (firefox is extended support release)

Have you tried HTTPS?

yes same thing happens, it wont even open our zoho mail. :frowning:

you could be going through a proxy or dell/lenovo certificate lolz - in either way, you cannot trust that connection, because it could be MITM attack on you network

If what I just said is all garbled alien words to you then, go ahead, I can’t help you any-more!

its not dell/lenovo certificate our dell computers are from the 2005 era we dont use lenovo solooks like a MITM attack I am going to try to get rid of it

Have you tried a different browser to ensure it’s not just a Firefox issue?
