25M x 3M means you can theoretically download at 25 Mbps (megabits per second) and upload at 3 Mbps.<\/p>\n
6M x 1M is 6Mbps download and 1Mbps upload.<\/p>\n
There is overhead and such that means you will likely see 22Mbps x 1.5Mbps if you run a speed test.<\/p>\n
Also consider that cable is usually providing you with a shared line which means if others close by on the same service are streaming video, your speeds will suffer. Cable companies give you the Maximum speed their service can provide.<\/p>\n
