I’ve used SolarWainds SMP RMM, trying to test out a few others to determine who has the best product to offer my clients. Looking for suggestions.

Pulseway. It is amazing, and they are continuing to innovate. Check them out.

@Pulseway

Also, welcome to the community!

I have been trying out Comodo One. Still a work in progress but it has potential. A few times the agent caused high CPU usage but they fixed it pretty quick. I am mainly looking at it since I don’t have the cash flow right now to pay for anything else.

n-able, kaseya, labtech ?

What exactly do you like about those?

Avast is a great product, multi tool end to end because of the range of tools it can be a bear to setup initially.

NinjaRMM. Integrated patch management for MS, as well as others (Adobe, Oracle, etc.) - customizable with training wheels. Reporting is not as technical as I would like but good enough for stakeholders/business owners. Integrated AV, Teamviewer included.

Comodo One is the one I have been using, Labtech was really bad and Solarwinds is pretty expensive. THere are other experimental RMMs I have been using that I could PM you.

Hi Robert - As you gather more insight from other SpiceHeads, I wanted to briefly mention ConnectWise Automate as an option! Automate is going to help make you efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of your business, and provide proactive support and service. You can see some of our latest features here: What's New? | ConnectWise Automate

And, for every one Automate license, that comes with a ConnectWise Control (our Remote Control & Access Software) license for free!

Hope this helps in your search! If you’d like to chat more, feel free to PM me.

For most of these products, support for OS X is a total after-thought or non-existent. Windows support is an obvious need, but if there’s nothing for OS X or it’s horribly feature-limited, then it’s of no use to me.

Thanks for the mention, cheers!

Wanted to add that we have recently revamped our partner portal , and its training and tools with the rollout of the new Avast Business lineup , including Avast Business Managed Workplace RMM .

It was our goal with that rollout to make it as easy and streamlined as possible for providers to go with Avast! Our team is happy to help anyone get started and we welcome any feedback from providers about that process, so we can make it the best it can be

We use ConnectWise Automate (formerly LabTech) and have been quite happy with it. Getting ScreenConnect with it is a real bonus for remote connection! One important thing is that our techs enjoy using it as well. If you use ConnectWise Manage it’s a no-brainer, but even without that it should be high on your list of products to evaluate.

Appreciate the shout-out, adrianvanderlaan!

Robert - How’s your search going so far?

I’m currently using Continuum, looking at Comodo and Pulseway now.

Nothing particularly wrong with Continuum, but if I can get the same patch management, better rdp access (don’t like LogMeIn, and if a client is currently using LogMeIn then it breaks their install) and better mobile device support (both accessing the tools and actually supporting them) then I’d be open to changing

I would suggest you to try ManageEngine Desktop Central for your RMM needs. With Desktop Central, you can:

  • Automate Patch Management for Windows, Mac and Linux

  • Deploy software remotely

  • Manage the IT Assets including Software Metering and License Management.

  • Access computers and servers remotely and control

  • Manage the mobile devices

  • Image and deploy operating systems.

and much more. It is also free for up to 50 endpoints.

Cheers!
