Newest Teams just uses a login, its a Microsoft Store app, and honestly, Skype was frankly not great to start with. Teams is very polished and worthy of becoming the successor.<\/p>\n

I would think that if you only or mainly talk to the client, then moving on to what they are using now is the better choice ?<\/p>\n

Teams, we migrated from Skype for Business to Teams recently, used to have various issues with S4B, Teams just works like a charm, If both parties on Teams happy days, if not it has telephony integrated. M365 offer various telephony pricing plans. Teams is fine for calls, but it’s virtually impossible to get it to stop nagging you about messages and things.
