Not currently, but you can add ?order=created to the end to get there. We’re trying to figure out a more permanent option as well.

There is an option and Suzanne mentioned, but it’s just not a built in one in preferences.

Sort the community posts by created date and add a custom link

I actually added a custom link for it on the left in case I’m logging in from another machine, but the link above is how I have the site bookmarked.

It’s the little “plus” button down at the bottom right of the left hand menu, next to the keyboard button (which shows keyboard shortcuts).

What if i want that per headiing - such as when in the watercooler or when in windows as I tend to load up each category that interests me at a particular time and its there I find this issue more frustrating.

Sorting Categories by Last Activity or Topic Creation?

One of the things that has come up since we moved to the new Community platform, is how Categories are sorted using the “New” filter. Right now, this sort is based off of “Activity” which denotes the last reply to a topic. This is essentially what the “Last Updated” filter in the vintage platform did.
