Hi guys , i have random freezes on the HR director PC and its going me crazy , i will detail what i do and the setup :

Changed pc (same model but other one) , and also the ssd with another one.

Fresh Windows 10 install.

Hibernation disabled

PCI express energy administration : disabled

The PC works like a charm until it freeze (complete freeze had to hard reset). Nothing works (mouse , keyboard buttons , block mayus led wont change either)

Sometimes works 3 day without a problem and other days freeze 3 times in 40 minutes interval (or less).

I clone his pc and restore it on another machine , and look for virus with malwarebytes and avira rescue usb and i found nothing (just some false possitive)

I am really out of ideas.

Thanks

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

Have you considered an actual hardware problem? Run the built-in manufacturer diagnostics on boot up.

{"@type":"Person
larrydigioia1598
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/larrydigioia1598"}},{"@type":"Answer

I think about it but since a change the whole computer (also hard drive) and still happening…same hardware problem on two computers?

About that i run chkdsk and no problems , also i run memory check and its ok too.

{"@type":"Person
antoniotene
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/antoniotene"}},{"@type":"Answer

Then you are probably in the neighborhood of manufacturer drivers.

First, try a clean install with nothing but Windows drivers. Then see if all hardware is detected properly (diskmgmt.msc) - check for drivers from Win update. If anything is still missing, load the manufacturer driver for it. See how it goes.

What is the manufacturer/model?

{"@type":"Person
larrydigioia1598
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/larrydigioia1598"}},{"@type":"Answer

Its an HP Elite 8200 Sff. Thanks for all the help and fast reply.

Are you sure its diskmgmt.msc? That opens me the drives administrator. Maybe you want to say device manager?

I do it and update as soon as i finish it. Something weird its that we have other 25 computers same brand/model with windows 10 and no one have that problem. Also of those 25 four of them had an ssd and not freeze. All of them with Windows 10 native drivers.

What is the manufacturer/model?

Please roughly describe your LAN - LAN speed to the computer, number of users, models of switches, how old the LAN wiring is, etc.

Also the AC power environment - “typical office” - “school?” “warehouse?” - “manufacturing?”

{"@type":"Person
larrydigioia1598
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/larrydigioia1598"}},{"@type":"Answer

Its an HP Elite 8200 Sff.

We have connected an cat6 cable. Computer → RJ45 port on the ground (dont know how its called in english–> Patch panel → switch 2960 → router Juniper

Its a gigabit conexion (100/1000).

Number of users you mean on that computer (just one) , or whole network (150aprox).

About how old wiring its i dont know , the AC power its typical office i think.

***IMPORTANT NOTE : All the desk (with the PC) was moved from the branch office to a personal dispatch , so its connected in other LAN port and still same isues.

Thanks if you need more info told me.

{"@type":"Person
antoniotene
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/antoniotene"}},{"@type":"Answer

It is not hardware my friend…it is the Win10 that you are using to install. Think about this, on all the fixes you have done, which factor is the most constant? WIN10…

Try using another Win10 DVD or file.
