windows 7 problem with inventory scan

I can’t get my scan to work on a windows 7 machine.

I opened the ports that spiceworks uses in the domain in the firewall settings.

Have you tried (from command line)

netsh firewall set service remoteadmin enable

Have you tested disabling the Firewall completely ? Have you checked WMI?

I tried the command line and get this:

netsh firewall is deprecated; use “netsh advfirewall firewall” instead.

I tried that and no luck.

Have you checked WMI? Is Domain Admin account part of local admin?

fixed it. Had to open WMI in firewall completely.
