I am currently running a FreePBX system and have some Yealink T48G phones. The phones are working great except for one small issue. When someone activates DND on their phone the T48G BLF shows that persons status as “Talking”. What I want to know is this; is there any way to remove the status completely and just have that persons BLF show up in red on the phone or change the status when they are on DND to say DND instead of talking. I am pretty sure that this is a phone issue and not a FreePBX issue, but if it is a FreePBX issue, could anyone with experience in changing the BLF status let me know how to do it. Any help help is much appreciated.

I can’t speak to the 48 however I do have a T46G where you can administratively disable the feature or even remap the key to something else in the web-admin page which should do the trick.
