Ticket Rules is a great feature, however, I am having one problem that is affecting us pretty significantly.

I created a rule to cc all admins whenever a new ticket is created. The reason why I made this rule was that it was the only way I could figure out how to alert all admins by email that someone had accepted a ticket (without that admin having to waste time manually cc’ing all other admins). This feature works like a champ. The problem is that once this rule is applied, no one receives email notifications that a new ticket has been created.

My question is: Is this normal, is this a bug, am I doing something wrong, or is there a different / easier way for me to accomplish what I am trying to do?

Okay, saw another post that this was a bug that has not been fixed. So my next question is this: Is there a different way to have all Admins notified that someone has accepted a ticket? This would prevent 4 different admins from trying to jump on the same problem without being aware that someone is already on it.

Hi John, not currently. You may want to add a Feature Request for this functionality.
