Q: Can my armed robbery be reduced to strong armed robbery
Jonathan Edmond Bennett Lewis
Jonathan Edmond Bennett Lewis answered on Jun 6, 2021

Hello,

Yes, the State could reduce armed robbery to strong armed robbery. However, this is usually done as a condition of plea negotiations. We recommend that you speak with this possibility to your attorney.

We hope that this helps you, and wish you the best in your matter.

Q: Can my Guardian force me to quit my job in Oklahoma?

I'm a 17 year old which is above the legal age requirement for working in my state. But she says she can call and quit for me without my consent. Can she? Or would I have to do it since me working is legal?

"Can my Guardian force me to quit my job in Oklahoma?"

Of course she can. It can be described as pretty much this simple: Parents/legal guardians make the rules, children follow those rules.

First, I am going to try to make sense of what’s happened in your case. Q: I would like to know if a landlord is responsible for replacing wood rot and warped flooring in an apartment rental?

I asked the landlord to replace the floors and they said they wouldn’t until I moved from the apartment.

If there is a written lease, the obligation to repair should be governed by the terms of the lease. If no written lease, I believe since the flooring is part of the structure, the obligation to repair is on the landlord.

1 Answer | Asked in Health Care Law and Personal Injury for Wisconsin on
Q: My previous primary Dr never informed me about two major health issues three years ago. However, the information was in

my online health account which I didn't read. Nothing was mentioned by her about these issues at a follow up visit after a surgery for something else either. Should she have discussed this with me, or was it my responsibility to read my health account, and contact her?

A Wisconsin attorney could advise best, but your post remains open for two weeks. She should have discussed the issues with you, and at the same time, you should have read your records as well if you had access to the information in the health account. Naturally, it also depends on the criticality... Read more »
