THERE IS NO WAY FOR A LAWYER IN PALM SPRINGS TO KNOW HOW THAT COURT ACTS.

IT DEPENDS ON WHAT THE CHARGE WAS THAT PLACED YOU ON INFORMAL/SUMMARY PROBATION.

Q: If during a car accident, a child is hurt and the mother is driver of someone else vehicle . The claim against mom, why?

To reach a settlement the mother has to agree. And as it is up to the courts either the child waits till 18 to receive the money or parent is given a monthly amount to get what the child needs

You should have an attorney review the complaint and defend it. There's no way to know if he has stated a good cause of action for civil theft.
