Q: I was set up for a drug sale during the pandemic. Are there any laws at all that could help me since it was a pandemic?

I was set up in 2020 by UCs on a controlled sale. It was in the middle of the pandemic. Not likely. First, court staff are not the judge. You are responsible for complying with orders to appear unless excused by the judge.

It sounds like the court isn't treating it as a big deal now, but you do need to arrange to appear and make sure you are present going forward....

Unless you sit down with a family law attorney to review the terms of the court's order or your settlement agreement, it is impossible to determine your equity interest, what responsibilities your ex has for payment purposes for the mortgage balance and whether your equity interest is valued... I don't mean to sound rude, but you've made a statement rather than asking a question. Do you have a question? You'll want to use somewhat correct terminology. A "land patent" typically refers to the initial grant of a piece of land by the government to an individual or... Read more »
