Transportation Information
Ground transportation
Ground transportation will be provided to and from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) on July 16th and 23rd. Veterans that are driving to Minneapolis will be responsible for their own parking and associated fees.
Airline flight numbers and arrival/departure times must be entered into registration by the Veteran or coach by June 1, 2025. Transportation will not be provided if flight information is missing or incomplete. NO Luggage Tags are needed this year. Veterans will pick up their own baggage at the Baggage Claim at the Airport and Volunteers will be available to assist.

Hotel Information
All teams are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. Rooms are on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations open on May 1, 2025. The last date to make reservations, based on availability, is May 30, 2025. The hotels require a valid credit card to secure a guestroom reservation. A credit card will be used as a guarantee and will not be charged unless the reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of arrival or no shows.
Room Rate
Cost per room, per night will be the prevailing Government Rate, currently $148 per night plus 15.025%, which is $170.24 per night or $1,191.68 for a seven-night stay. Lodging is not tax exempt in the State of Minnesota.
Hotel Assignments
There are four official NVWG hotels for athletes. Each team is assigned to a specified hotel to make reservations. Hotel team assignments can be found here
Reservation Process
Athletes/Coaches will be sent the reservation link for their assigned hotel only. Coaches, if you need to make 10 more reservations please email Kaitlyn Walker at [email protected] to set up a sub-block for your team.
If an athlete will NOT have the credit card used for paying room and tax at check-in please be sure to complete a credit card authorization form. This is an additional step after making the hotel reservation.
Reservation booking will open on May 1, 2025. Accessible rooms are not assigned by the hotel and must be requested in NVWG registration.
Portage
A mandatory baggage handling fee of $8 (subject to change) per bag round trip for each bag that arrives from the airport will be charged to your room at check-in as an incidental.
Incidentals Policy
A hold will be placed on the credit card provided at check-in for incidentals (e.g. portage fee, parking, room service, etc.). The amount varies based on the hotel:
DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown: $100/night
Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown: $50 flat rate
Hyatt Place Minneapolis/Downtown: $250 flat rate
Hyatt Regency Minneapolis: $50/night

Hyatt Place Minneapolis/Downtown
Hotel parking is located below the hotel at the Denison Centre Village Parking Ramp and accessible from entrances on 7th St (underground) and 5th Ave (above ground). For unlimited in-and-out privileges during your stay, guests must register parking immediately with the front desk, at the time of check-in.
World of Hyatt Members: $28/night
Non-members: $30/night
Hyatt Regency Minneapolis
Hyatt Regency Minneapolis offers valet parking with in-and-out privileges. Oversize vehicles can be accommodated on a space-available basis in valet for $65.00 per night.
Overnight: $52/night
Oversize vehicles: $65/night
For guests wishing to self-park, the Loring Parking Ramp is located next to the hotel but is not operated by Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. The Loring Parking Ramp is a covered parking garage with a 6’6″ clearance. No motorcycles or RVs are permitted. The Loring Parking Ramp does not accept cash, and payment for parking is made directly to the garage upon exiting. In-and-out privileges are possible for an additional $5 per night. Please bring your ticket to the front desk upon arrival if you wish to utilize in-and-out parking.

Hotel Cancellation Policy
The hotel will allow attendees the right to cancel their guestroom reservations without penalty up to 72 hours prior to the day of arrival. The hotel shall charge the individual attendee or team one (1) nights guaranteed guest room rate plus tax after such date or for failure of the individuals to check-in on the scheduled arrival date. Rentals
Roll-aways are not available. Contact the hotel directly to request a refrigerator if needed. Refrigerators are NOT included in all guest rooms.
Accessible Rooms
Accessible rooms are not assigned through the hotel and must be requested in NVWG registration. Please request an accessible room in registration. Rooms will be assigned based on need. Personal Care Rooms with an accessible roll-in shower will be available by hourly sign-up through the front desk or guest services. Email Kaitlyn Walker at [email protected] with any questions.
