Turtle Beach's new Donkey Kong Switch 2 Pro Controller

Donkey Kong Bananza launch day is here and so is the brand new Donkey Kong Edition Turtle Beach Rematch Wireless Pro Controller for Switch 2. Just after catching a look at the latest option from one of our favorites, 8BitDo, Turtle Beach is stepping out of the underground worlds with its new new Donkey Kong-themed wireless Switch 2 pro controller for Bananza launch day. Now available for pre-order at Amazon, you can get a closer look and more details down below.

Turtle Beach has been delivering everything from more casual gaming gear right up to hardcore pro-level gear for years, but today it is introducing a whimsical new release with the official Donkey Kong edition of its latest Switch 1/2 Pro Controller – it also works with Nintendo Switch 1, the OLED more, and Switch Lite for the record. Just take note that while this controller is Switch 2-ready, it does not include the “C” chat button.

As you can see from the imagery you’ll find a D-pad positioned on the lower lefthand side with a set of shoulder triggers and back buttons in the usual spot. The asymmetrical joysticks mimic what we see on the official $84 Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and you’ll also find a 600mAh built-in rechargeable battery, motion controls, and a 30-foot wireless connection all at the ready on Turtle Beach’s latest officially licensed gamepad.

While the new Rematch DK controller does not have a “C” button or the HD rumble action, it does have a few things going for it – the DK-themed lenticular design and a less expensive $60 price of entry.
