As you have probably already noticed, we have fully migrated to the new Spiceworks Community platform. If you’re already well acquainted with this update, continue reading. But, if you’re not, we recommend also checking out the community-release-notes for March 1, 2024.
This re-platforming marks a significant milestone for investing in our Community. Our primary aim with this move is to establish a stronger foundation for future improvements; it’s just the first step in a series of enhancements we have planned. This migration has allowed us to look hard at what has been successful while looking toward what we feel is necessary for the future.
Things are different if you’ve used the vintage Community platform. We have prepared some things to help you learn about the new platform.
You should see a private message from SpiceBot in your inbox. If you need help figuring out where to look, you’ll see an area for 'Messages ’ in the side navigation and, within that, ‘Inbox .’ If you didn’t get a message from SpiceBot, check out this topic: “How can SpiceBot help me?”.
We’re also bringing back the field-guide and this is a good place to learn about dark mode, categories & tags, tracking notifications, bookmarks, and more. So check out “Getting Started in the Spiceworks Community.”
The best resource, though, is the people in our Community. If you have a question about the new platform, feel free to ask it below or post it in the Spiceworks Support category. And if you have some pro tips to share with others, post them here, too!
