Hey,
I have an ssl setup via cloudflare, and everything seems to work correctly:
-
I can access the site via https, and get a green secure lock
-
iPad app works successfully when logging in
However, the Android app cannot connect. I get an ‘untrusted cert error’, no matter what I try, and it will not proceed past that warning.
I have the latest version of spiceworks and the android app installed.
Any help?

Your android certificates may need updating, this is usually done as you update the OS but you can do it manually too
This is occurring on all android devices (2 users). Assuming the android devices are on the latest version supported by their carrier, any help on updating them manually?
Again, not sure why this works fine on iPhone, but android having issues. Accessing on the android phone with the browser works correctly. This only occurs when using the Android app.

Is the app connecting to your Spiceworks, in-house, if so make sure the complete certificate chain is in tact, if you want me to check and this is public facing PM me the URL and I will check it
Yes, spiceworks is installed on a local server. The certificate shows as valid when connecting with a browser (with android or computer) on-site or off site. It’s a 3rd party cert. I only have port 443 open on our firewall. If I open port 80 and connect without https within the app, it connects successfully.
Unfortunatly, it says I can’t PM you because I’ve not reached the Sonora level on this forum.
