Advertising advertising advertising.

{Read as noun verb noun/object. Technically grammatically correct. The sentence is not me having a stroke.}

I’m referring to the square ad on the right. The link went to “AdRoll”, https://www.adroll.com/adroll-advertising-platform-with-lounge-underwear?utm_source=google-display&a , which appears to be an advertising platform. You may need to tweak and get that ad out of rotation.

Thanks for pointing this out! I’ll let the ad team know. Probably someone mistagged an ad, let’s give them the benefit of the doubt and say accidentally, and based on that tagging, was probably pulled into our network. We’ll see about getting this removed ASAP.

Now it’s bigger. Got that ad just moments ago after refreshing one of my many tabs.

Thanks, I just added this to the internal conversation about this (which gave me a good reason to ping that again as a reminder in case it got lost).

Yeah, it got lost. I refreshed a screen and still got this advertisement. My system date and time (Eastern) is shown in the corner. Perhaps I’m having a caching issue?

I’m going to be lazy and copy-pasta my response from the other topic:

Hi MAINSTRIKE, just saw your reply on the other topic as well. I just resent my request to the ad team with a little more, ahem, spice on it. I added this ad to my request as well. We’ll get this resolved soon.

Lazy would have been to ignore this thread, expecting me to read the comment from the other thread. Apparently you can’t drop the whole community manager thing; you’ve got to respond to every thread. All the threadz!

Not a caching issue. :stuck_out_tongue:

Speaking of me being lazy, I meant to reply to this later on Friday (but didn’t). We found the culprit and the issue has been resolved.
