I have noticed that the anti virus is being detected on some computer but not on others.
I have done a little looking and it shows up in the software list but not under the configuration tab.
We are using Sophos Antivirus.
Is there something I need to change? Or is it a flaw?
Thanks,
TM

The machines are fully scanned.
64bit they aren’t showing up either.
The ones I am looking at these 32 bit desktops and a couple servers.
I will change my scan settings and report back.
Thanks

I only have 2 64bit computers as of now.
I was in reports today and ran the computers without anti-virus and had a long list of them but everyone I checked has it installed and shows in the software tab so didn’t know if I was missing something or just a flaw of the system.

Find a machine not right in your inventory and hit the rescan button
Hi Product Advisor,
Does spice works support Microsoft Forefront Antivirus client?
It doesn’t seem to pickup any machines with the Forefront client.
Also i have tried on both x64 and x32 bit machines.
Also tried slow rescan but no luck.
Any ideas?

At the moment i dont think its supported, you could add a feature request for this
Okay great!
What is the best way to request this feature?
Also do you guys have a list of all the antivirus programs which are supported?
I’m hoping the big enterprise software supported, such as symantec, trend and mcafee.
I realy like spiceworks but ignoring forefront AV does not seem smart
