I’m having an issue where I’m importing a csv but the new devices aren’t showing in spiceworks. The only remedy i’ve found is to give each device a unique name instead of having ipad i did ipad # (increasing per device) serials are unique so i dont know why this would be an issue

Hey Casey,

I believe that’s actually by design as it would be a bit confusing to have multiple devices with the same name. Adding a number to each device, as you did, is a good solution.

However, I tried this in my install and noticed the messaging indicates that all of the devices were imported. Since only the first device was imported, that’s a little misleading. I’m going to let our developers know so they can include some better messaging.

Ya i just thought it was odd i didn’t get an error so i was thinking everything was importing correctly.
