So I’m back at work after a well deserved week off, and I’ve done the inevitable inbox clear out. Fortunately there have been no meltdowns and everything is ticking over nicely, so I have a chance to give the community a quick read and I have a dilema:

Do I go through all the threads from the past week to see if I can contribute anything useful, or do I draw a line under all previous threads and start fresh from this today?

How much time can you afford to waste?

You’ll be spending about 3 hours catching up with the random forum thread alone lol

New week , fresh start !! ;o)

Just stick to current issues.

I gave up on the random thread ages ago, and spend most of my free time in the UK community.

There is never any point in trying to catch up on a busy forum like this. Start from fresh each time. It moves too quickly to be able to keep up if you’ve been away for more than 24 hours.

I would probably just start fresh.

I always try and start a fresh after annual leave but do take a quick look at key people that I follow. They normally give me a heads up on anything I may have missed.

You don’t have check your inbox while on vacation? Lucky you

The worst part about a vacation is having to come back in the office!!

That’s why I convince myself not to take vacations. That or I just can’t afford to. One of those…

That’s awesome to hear that nothing exploded while you were gone, VERY lucky you!

Fresh.

You missed the launch of the Soapbox group while you were gone. I would start there, there are some pretty interesting “wars” going on over there. It’s like the Water Cooler but for topics that can get heated. Have fun!

Declare bankruptcy and start fresh. Works for your email inbox too

Fresh start it is then, although I did give the Water Cooler threads a quick look-see!

But where’s the fun in that? Reading all the stuff makes you look busy!
