I just got back yesterday from a week off. I came in on Saturday just to listen to voicemails, check emails and compose a list of items that need to be done. Makes coming back into the office much easier.
Not easy enough though, lol.

With all the activities I get upto on holiday (and weekends) - I go back to work for a rest
It’s a bit sad when the enjoyment of being away from work temporarily is tempered by the fact that you will have to pay for that enjoyment when you get back. Around here people who would normally not get out of their chair to extinguish the blase if their butt caught on fire feel a compulsive need to become network technicians on my rare days off.
I know my situation is not unique. Just another rant.
