I have a very frustrating issue occurring. My spiceworks installation keeps detecting online devices as offline. I cannot keep deleting them as this is not a fix.

I reboot the server and it detects them online then the next scan finds the same devices offline. This is happening to dozens of devices.

Current running version is 7.2.00230.

I need to resolve this or I will need to dump the project and turn to another monitoring solution.

Any and all help is much appreciated.

is it the same devices that are showing up as offline? Are they flip flopping? Do they go from offline to online back to offline multiple times?

They do not go back online unless manually scanned or spiceworks service is restarted. Most of the time it is the same but it is flopping for several as well so it is mixed.

Can you send us an email at support@spiceworks.com? We need to look at your logs and see what is picked up by our scans when the devices are marked as offline

Hello, I am having this similar problem. I am monitoring ping for 3 devices, 1 of them (so far the same one) has been shown as offline for the past 10 days even though truly it is online.
