Is there any way to set up an admin so they get an email notification only when they are assigned to a ticket?

I am actually looking for this as well.

I would like to have the assignee ( not only the admin) but any assignee to receive a detail email of the ticket upon getting assigned.

Is this possible?

The problem is that we want admin1 and admin2 to be notified for everything but admin3 we only want notified when admin1 or admin2 assigns a ticket to them. Admin3 does not need to see every ticket that is opened, commented in, or closed. Just the tickets that pertain to them.

It Should be under Settings/helpdesk Settings and there you can assign the notifications for admins as well as user notifications!

Sorry James got alittle side tracked with Jcal, Unfortunately this function is not available in spiceworks right now, they have a feature request for this here: http://community.spiceworks.com/feature_request/show/Help%20Desk/1593
