Tasks is NOT a substitute, unless there are templates where multiple tasks can be added quickly/automatically. I am extremely disappointed there seems to be little to no development for Cloud HelpDesk. Sorry to sound so negative, but…
Unless I’m really missing something, but the Cloud version doesn’t have the same features or options that On-Prem does.
3 things that I would consider moving to Cloud HelpDesk are: editing Comments, Checklists and Workflow. When specifying a certain Category like Separation, it would automatically add in Checklists you have defined for Separations.
I’ve seen and been told to submit enhancement requests, but of course no replies on them.
Is Cloud HelpDesk actually being developed anymore? November there were updates on Reports. Prior update was in July.

The Cloud Help Desk is very much still being developed and some of the features you’ve described as needing prior to moving are very much on the radar of the developers. In addition, the Feature Request list is something that is actually used to gather information about what’s important to our users - so if you haven’t already, do add a vote and a comment about why the feature is important to you.

Checklists are somewhat available using the built-in Tasks functionality in CHD. Sorry we haven’t replied to your existing feature requests - we typically review them after we’ve implemented (or periodically when reviewing groups of FRs).
Right now we’re wrapping up some updates on the Power BI advanced reporting functionality, and are moving to update the User Portal.
Definitely continuing work!

Where do I find the built-in Tasks?
Maybe I’m looking in the wrong spot, but where can I find the Feature Requests for Cloud Help Desk? I see Feature Requests under Help, but that is for all of Spiceworks which dates back to 2006?
Being a newer product with CHD, I just don’t see as many releases like On-Prem did back in the day couple years ago. You could see progress being made. CHD not so much.
You should see it at the bottom of the Tickets view, when you have a ticket selected there’s a Tasks tab you can use to add/complete tasks for that ticket.

Thank you Ben! I’m embarrassed that I did not find that. Sadly that will not work. Checklists automatically creates the Tasks for you, as opposed to creating Tasks manually and forgetting which steps need to be taken.
Thank you for the link to the Feature Requests. I see Checklists was added 5 years ago, with 70 votes for it. Hopefully this can get bumped up in priority. It made the Top 10, #8 on the Spiciest list.
