As a spinoff of dream prizes , many in the Spiceworks community have won some pretty awesome stuff over the years. I know whenever I hear someone close to me win something big, it instantly feels more attainable.

This kid in my elementary school won a drum kit from Mars Music once and after I heard that I threw my name in the hat of every drawing I could. I haven’t won anything spectacular recently. A few years back I won an Echo Dot at a work training, but my spouse who’s an IT pro has always been wary of those types of devices, so it’s still in the box.

If you’re not already following the contests forum , make sure to do that so you hear about all the current opportunities to win.

I did win something from Spiceworks: a DJI Phantom 3 Standard drone. I think it was CTRL-ALT-TECH and I was watching with my boss and they announced the winner and we both just looked at each other and started cheering! It was definitely a great moment, and a great surprise! I don’t have the drone any more, gave it to a coworker who uses it more than I ever did.

Anyone can win. I have never won a giant stupendous prize like a drone. I won a football bundle from HPE which had a nice rolling cooler, a blue tooth speaker, a nice blanket and some small binoculars. The cats love the blanket, the speaker gets regular use, so overall a nice prize.

I have gotten an Amazon Gift card, Spiceworks T-Shirt, and an Eaton Gift box (Cant remember if they were contests or not). Those were all cool. I was a one off from an Ultra Book Laptop back in the day, but for the most part, I usually don’t win anything and I have come to terms with that.

I’ve been incredibly lucky winning a few things on Spiceworks. The first thing I won was a pair of Sennheiser Game One headset. It’s got spectacular sound still. Then I won a replica Iron Throne. A few of the “blades” off the swords have broken but everyone still knows that I’m the king. And most recently won a Tripp LIte Gaming UPS. I’ll have to take pictures. I also won a small swag bag from Webroot for a Star Wars trivia they did at some point last year.

Have won a few times. Lots of swag and gift cards. Bigger prizes include an XBox, a Fat Tire bike, an electric scooter, Alexa Echo (twice), game chair, JBL speaker (twice).

In the last year or so I haven’t won any web meeting contest, is there a blacklist?

I looked it up and was surprised to see it was that long ago, I won a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth keyboard from Spiceworks in 2015. I am still using it!

I have only ever won solicitation emails. I’ve attended maybe 10 webinars?

Idk how you guys pick the winner but I feel like my username being Zed puts me at the bottom of the attendee’s list. If a human picks at “random” they’re probably never going to pick the first or last.

I won a portable monitor a few weeks ago.

It hasn’t shown up yet, but I just upgraded my home office and it would be perfect for a live calendar.

I won a Star Trek themed mouse pad.

I was also supposed to have won a gift card, but I think that got lost in a shuffle and forgotten when Sean D was trying to ascertain what the other winners preferred, and it fell off his radar so I never ended up receiving it. :frowning:
