Hey Spiceheads.

So this just came in:

Hi.

I got back from vacation now and the problem is back again.
Every time i lock my computer or step away for a couple of minutes i have to sign back in and then it says my session expired and the only way to get back to the original working login screen, is to restart. I cannot restart 10 times a day and lose all my work each time as the computer is not the fastest either and it takes a couple of minutes to start up each time.

It all started when the original logins that worked were changed to gmail sign-ins.
XXXX helped me to change it back to the original login which worked great until i got back from vacation now.

Please can this be sorted out and it not keep asking for a gmail username and password. The new gmail login 2 step verification thing is such a downgrade from what we had previously.

I am looking up possible causes and solutions but I’m not getting anywhere. Has anyone else run into this issue or something similar?

Thanks in advance.

I’d try removing the stored credentials from Credential manager and re-logging in.

Is the user running a remote desktop or standard?

Standard desktop. I’ll give this a go and test it, thanks.

One question though, are those credentials stored locally or somewhere in the cloud?

I believe these are stored locally in the system drive.

Sorry for the post running a bit dry, Im having issues contacting the user in question. He is in Aus and Im in South Africa so the time difference makes it tricky.
