half the IT staff called off today!

Our two help-desk / PC techs called off this morning then our business analysts has to leave to pick up her sick daughter from school. That’s 3 of the 6 members of the IT staff gone.

I wonder if it is some sort of staff “sick-out” or what. This has never happened before.

Oh well at least it is a slow day.

It really shouldn’t be this way but whenever I take sick days (few and very far in between) sh!t just seems to hit the fan.

It could be worst. Don’t get to your desk before finding someone in your office is emailing everyone virus’s from their personal email. few people who did open the email on their home system from their personal email.

Having 2 systems Power Supplies die and our main fax machine not working.

I was out on last Wednesday. My first sick day in 4 years. I am the only IT guy at my office and they had to throw me out. Everything tends to blow up if I’m out.

Are they suffering from a scratchy throat and heavy sinal and nasal congestion. If so, they’ve got to stop hanging out with me.
