We’re backing up with Unitrends and sending the data out to the cloud. Is there a way I can see the daily volume of traffic, for gauging against other backup options?

The Unitrends Cloud is classified as a Hot Target by our system. Under the Reports tab and the Backup Copy category, you should see Backup Copy - Hot Targets with the ability to generate report based on a customized time frame. Is this the information you were looking for? Please let me know if there’s anything else you need!

I was able to find the report. Thanks for the lead. I read the description as “the appliance that is the target” as opposed to “what the appliance targets”.

@adam-unitrends ​ I’m trying to go back over the last year, are reports not available that far back?

Hi @dsentelle ​ you should be able to use the date range filters to view copies older than the past year if they are available. Our cloud retention is based on local uncompressed volume and a contracted duration period (90 days, 1-7 years, or infinite). Is it possible your contract is for 90 days or 1 year of retention? That may be why you wouldn’t see backup copies further back. Thanks, we’re on a year retention. I suspect that it is a log retention setting because I can see the older backups, I appreciate the information, its been very helpful.
