How to get a remote job for experience?

My name is Emil and I am a entry-level network engineer from Turkmenistan.

I study a lot and try to develop in all areas of computer technology, but I am faced with one problem that, it seems to me, concerns not only me. WHERE CAN I GET WORK EXPERIENCE? Where can I apply my knowledge and also learn something new from more experienced network engineers?

I am actively looking for remote job, but as a rule, the relevant certificates and experience are needed everywhere. At the moment, I am actively preparing for CCNA, and have also completed courses on the Coursera website “Cybersecurity from Google”. I don’t care about money and my salary, I care about experience and working in a team with more competent people so that I can develop myself.

If there is anyone among you who can help me, please respond

I will also be glad to meet and communicate with people with similar interests from all over the world.

Whilst this topic ( Path to cyber security? ) is about entering the cybersec space, the OP has the same issue as yourself - they lack experience.

Please take a look at some of the feedback there as it applies to anyone who wants experience, for their respective job.

Volunteer at a local charity or non profit is a good way to get experience.

FYI, you don’t need a remote job to gain experience, as per my post on the other topic, ask your local school or college/university if they have any way you can learn with them, on the job without having to subscribe to a course, seek advice from them about your options, too.

If you don’t already have a lab, get one - this shows your willingness to learn and self-teach.

Well I would suggest to consider exploring online platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, or even LinkedIn to find remote opportunities where your skills can be utilized. Preferably, look for entry-level positions or internships that may not require extensive experience but offer valuable learning opportunities.

You can go to the various online job finder platforms. There are usually check boxes for ‘remote’ and ‘entry level’. I saw plenty of employers with ‘just be willing to learn’ in their descriptions. Even for IT work.
