Well, to get a position in networking you’ll need education and experience.
Education: CompTIA is a well known certification for basic knowledge in a lot of different fields. A+ for PC’s and peripherals if you need that knowledge and Network + for a good basic understanding of how computers talk to each other. From there you can branch out into many different specialties, but that’s a good starting point.
Experience: Without any knowledge it’s tough to break in. My only suggestion is to see if you can volunteer with an organization in exchange for some exposure to their IT department. Maybe cleaning PC’s or something like that. Good Luck.

Most networking jobs will have you starting at a help desk position troubleshooting simple and complex things such as routing loops and something as simple as changing the ink in a printer. I would recommend studying for and getting your A+ & N+ certs.

If you find the key to this let me know, I spent nearly a decade trying to find gainful IT employment. If I may make a recommendation, do anything, get experience under your belt, regardless the pay benefits, whether it is contract of not, just do it. The experience is the hardest hurdle to get over. Entry level positions wanting 1 yr or more experience how do you get that if no one wants you if you don’t all ready have that year of experience.

Thats good that you are already CCNA certified. I think you should do MCSE also because these courses are the basics for any networking job. After doing these types of courses you will now be able to understand the basic or somehow the advanced network environment. You will also gain experience which will be very much helpful for your future. CompTIA is also very good. You can try. Best of Luck.
great frnd injoy the networking world. its the best field you have chosen…just try to gain knowledge more & more as mush as you can. and always be practical in it. ok good luck dude
try craigslist. several small companies hire from there. I landed my systems administrator gig using that site. I do a whole bunch of daily network admin tasks as well. Good luck!
The Net+ cert really launched my career. Get relevant experience how ever you can.
