Overheating can cause systems to freeze without leaving a trace in system logs. Use software to monitor the temperature of the CPU and GPU.<\/p>","upvoteCount":2,"datePublished":"2023-11-08T16:17:48.000Z","url":"https://community.spiceworks.com/t/hp-zbook-g9-series-laptop-freezing-issue/962156/2","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"stefan-pulseway","url":"https://community.spiceworks.com/u/stefan-pulseway"}},{"@type":"Answer","text":" Try running an overnight RAM check. We are looking at the Video driver as the culprit. When we do a Windows patch or update we find we have to rerun the HP Image Assistant to overwrite the Microsoft video driver to stop the halting.<\/p>","upvoteCount":0,"datePublished":"2024-03-26T18:24:22.794Z","url":"https://community.spiceworks.com/t/hp-zbook-g9-series-laptop-freezing-issue/962156/7","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"banyonjarvis","url":"https://community.spiceworks.com/u/banyonjarvis"}}]}}
