I have 3 separate network accounts that cannot be altered. One is the default user. I need to edit or delete them and create new ones. How can that be done?

No, they cannot be deleted or edited in any way. Or at least not in any way I am aware of. That is why I am asking the question.

Thanks, but that’s a little over my head. I couldn’t find the accounts I needed to update. I don’t understand why there are 3 accounts I cannot alter. I really don’t understand why I can’t alter any of the accounts.

Just to be clear, are you referring to the Network Accounts for Scanning (Network Scan Settings)? The account you installed Spiceworks with is listed automatically and cannot be altered because it is has admin privileges on the local machine (I’m not sure what the other two are or why they can’t be altered).

You say you need to create new ones; can you not do this with the “Click here to add a new network account” link? You can then edit your scan ranges to use the new network accounts

Yes, they are all the, but called different things because I was testing something and each time I set a new one up I can no longer delete it. We changed our admin password recently and I wanted to edit it in the scans.

I can create new account but I cant then delete the account even I never use that account for scanning. Please help I have 4 accounts that I want to delete. I use Spiceworks Version 4.6.4879.
