is it because people dont like getting 11 points free any more?

i mean i can understand why they are getting blocked, if that is the case.

yea, they moved it to one particular post now. Thats too bad because I liked hearing about people who went up, but to find out about it now I have to go look for that post and I havent done that since they made the change.

But congrats to everyone who has gone up recently.

I checked it when I hit Thai, but only because I went there to post. I expect it’ll be a ton o time before I go back, since the next level is so much farther away…

and Ill bet the people who are Capsaicin got quite a few of their points congratulating people for pepper level increases…but now we cant.

I kinda disagree here. There are obviously people who aren’t aware of the new rule in the forum. Perhaps a reminder is not such a bad thing.

The self-congratulatory posts began to get out of hand.

While it’s cool to celebrate the advancement of a level, they started to become free point grabs and that diluted the real reason for points which is to award people for useful, meaningful contributions to the community.
