Just finished watching the Spiceworld opening session…

They talked about the new code base ( same in cloud and on prem ) but not sure if they were just refering to Help Desk or also Inventory?

anyone else hear something different than me?

I have been waiting to see if they were going to possibly give us a time frame for the on-prem inventory or if I need to start looking at other options.

Ultimately both Help Desk and Inventory. Right now we have a private beta running for the Help Desk, using the same code base that runs the Cloud Help Desk product.

No time frame on a common-codebase on-prem Inventory. We are continuing to work/expand on the online/cloud version of Inventory. In the next week or so we’ll be re-releasing the Connectivity Dashboard, which integrates with Inventory online.

I think based on the response I have gotten… ( none ) most people are going the cloud route.

I have been looking at some other options that might work for what we need.
