Is it possible to create an auditing protocol for spiceworks?

I work for a school and we are moving buildings and it would be cool if we could scan the barcodes that I will be adding to each of our assets to audit the different rooms and make sure everything is where it needs to be.

Is there even any physical (not-network-based) inventory system that works with spice works?

Hey MZC,

There isn’t really any integration with a physical inventory system. You’re basically wanting to check Spiceworks against a physical list, right?

This doesn’t help with the other end of things, but you could print off an inventory report from Spiceworks and use that to quickly check against whatever physical option you’re going with.
