I have not paid much attention to the Devices in my Inventory, but I recently removed and add servers. When I clicked on a devices it stated that the last scan was several months ago. (I don’t recall the actual date). I tried several things, but nothing was working so I decided to delete all devices and rescan the network. After scanning the entire network Spiceworks only found itself. DNS is working properly. I was able to use NSLOOKUP on the Spiceworks server to find servers. Please let me know if you can help.

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer

I was able to resolve this problem by removing nmap from Add/Remove programs.

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

Hi,

Are they getting picked up as unknowns? Can you create a range with 2 or 3 IPs and see if that scans in?

{"@type":"Person
jaimedelapaz
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/jaimedelapaz"}},{"@type":"Answer

It does not pick it up at all. I have tried to scan individual IPs and ranges with no success. However, I was able to scan a different subnet. We have a site connected via P2P and Spiceworks was able to scan the printers, routers, switches and workstations. I am beginning to think that maybe there is a GPO that I don’t know about that may be preventing this scan. All firewalls are off, so any ideas where to look? - Thank you for the reply

{"@type":"Person
timsoto0720
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/timsoto0720"}},{"@type":"Answer

Is it picking up any devices from that subnet? Is it picking up other devices properly?

{"@type":"Person
jaimedelapaz
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/jaimedelapaz"}}]}}
