Hi Guys

We are just doing a complete refresh of our systems and we want to start using Spiceworks to its fullest by using the inventory. I was just wondering what people include in the details (eg only what spiceworks puts in etc.). And if there are any ways of automating this.

I think you will find a wide range of what all gets filled out. I personally use all of the ones that are default and even made some. The more information I have at my fingertips the better.

You can do batch imports, particularly handy with non-networked items such as monitors. How To below:
