Good morning! Looking for some help on creating a flow… I have some forms set up in MS Forms and here is what I am trying to do:

  1. once the form is submitted I would like to have the responses sent to certain emails so they can look at the responses right on the email

  2. send a link to the MS Forms page that contains the inputted information (I have this one figured out but not sure if the other changes will break this the way I have it set up)

  3. bonus: if we could get the responses to land in Sharepoint as a list that would be awesome…

I’m stuck right now so any help would be greatly appreciated!

So I would do the order of operations this way:

  1. Send out Form Link to end user for input
  2. Have Flow record the form responses directly to a SharePoint list - Microsoft Power Automate
  3. Have Flow Trigger an email to the employees letting them know new data has been added to the SharePoint list - Microsoft Power Automate

That way the SharePoint list becomes the source of authority and keeps this all working as I would expect you want it.

Report back thoughts on that approach.

Gregory, you are the man. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the quick response!

By chance do you know how to get line breaks in the body of the email that is sent out (akin to just pressing the enter key on a normal email)?

Should be simple HTML markup

to get a new line…

Let’s just pretend I didn’t ask that… Thanks again for the help!
