Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010

Hi Guys,

Hope you can add this feature. I can monitor my Forefront endpoint protection 2010 in SpiceWorks installed in Windows 7 but on Windows 2008 Servers it shows no anti-virus installed.

In my dashboard I can see from the graph the about 15% on my infrastructure has no anti virus but if I click it and look in which it is not installed it was on the PC with Windows server 2008 OS, but the antivirus is there and updated.

Hope this can be added.

Spiceworks doesn’t report that I’m protected by MS Forefront either.

Seems more like a “feature” than a bug.

Needless to say we’re not renewing our contract and we’re signing on with another provider. When you think about it, it’s pretty asinine for the same company who controls the core OS to distribute a piece of software to cover the security holes they haven’t fixed in the core OS yet…

I have the exact same problem. 110 devices on the network, 10% show no AV, but when you check their software installation list, they all have MS Forefront installed. If you check the machine, its running and up-to-date.
