What are you watching this weekend?
I am definitely going to watch Extraction 2! Been binging Justified and have to say Timothy Olyphant is a decent actor.
Might catch Flash since it got released today in the theaters.

We just finished Justified last weekend. It was good enough that finishing was a little bit of a bummer.
We watched the first episode of Citadel and if Justified was a solid 8.5/10, Citadel was a 5/10. I don’t know if we’ll bother with another episode.
Because of how much we liked Justified, we’re going to try Deadwood, also featuring Olyphant. Its Rotten Tomatoes score is pretty good. Deadwood | Rotten Tomatoes
For movies, we want to check out Avatar, The Way of Water, which is now streaming. But it will need to wait, because:

I only want to go see the Flash because of Michael Keaton back as the Batman. When I saw that, I got the shivers. But i’ll probably go watch it with my kids next weekend.

Deadwood is phenomenal, you won’t regret it.
I’m not really sure if there’s anything I’ll end up watching. I might pop in John Wick 4 & The Super Mario Bros Movie just to see how good they look on my setup (I already saw both in theaters and just added the 4k blu rays to my collection) but there’s just not a ton being released that intrigues me. I do want to see The Flash but I’m not hearing great things about it so I’ll probably wait until it hits streaming to check it out. I’ve also been meaning to watch Pearl & Skin and Bones but I doubt I’ll get around to popping them in this weekend.

It’s really weird. Action - check!, Beautiful Human Being - check!, Cool futuristic equipment - check! Add it all up… meh. I don’t know if it was the pacing or what, but when the episode was over, my wife turned to me and said, “Well, that was no Raylan Givens.” All I could say was, “Nope…”

Waifu and I are going to finish The Night Agent tonight. There was a Chinese murder-drama that I have saved on the list, but cannot for the life of me remember the name of. Might actually buy the Haiyaa Special if I can’t find another place to “stream” it from.

The next season of Grantchester starts Sunday, I’m also looking for John Wick 4. I also expect the wife to demand more episodes of “Escape to the Country”

What are you watching this weekend?
Looking at finally watching Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and probably Flamin’ Hot.
For shows, we just wrapped up “Bloodhounds” which is a K-drama adapted from a webtoon. It was pretty good, but short at 8 episodes…

Traded in games for movies this weekend. Watched Extraction 2 & Creed 3. Now keep in mind, I hate sequels. How many times can you make the same movie & make enough money off of it to make another? (I’m looking at you Fast series!) But both of those movies were good. Extraction 2 had enough change to it to make it believable and it was action-packed! Creed 3, pretty much follows every other sequel where they mysteriously dig up someone from their past, but it had a good message to it.

I know I’m late to the conversation, but allows me to say what I did watch. Re-watched Tower of Terror and North by Northwest. I tried to watch Airport for the first time, but my family had other ideas, so I only got about 20 minutes in.
We watched Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade to prep for the final Indiana Jones movie (we saw Temple of Doom the previous weekend as it’s a prequel). We’re also on the final season of The Sopranos. We missed it the first time it was on so it’s been great watching this for the first time.
