Our company uses the Univerge SV8100 phone system with a combination of DT7000 and 800 12/24 button phones. We have 3 small remote offices currently not connected to our network with a user or two at each office. I’m looking at the NEC U Mobility5 application as a way for them to utilize the phone system. The download from the app store is free but I’m assuming it requires a separate license but am not sure; does it require a separate license or is a license associated with a desk phone cover it?

Hi Mike,
Thanks for reaching out to us. NEC may have a some updated options for you related to your Umobility/ SV8100 question. I’ve reached out to our PM team to get some answers on the licensing for you as well.
Thanks,
-Bryan

Mike,
Going to send you a note privately, I think it would be good if you spoke with a SME on this situation. You would need an additional license it seems but another solution now available might be a good fit.
Please check your inbox.
Thanks,
-Bryan
Thanks Bryan look forward it.
