Today is National Pet Day ! I know I always enjoy seeing the pictures and stories that people share when National Pet Day roles around every year. I’m sure it brightens many other animal lover’s days out there as well.
So, without further ado, today I’m celebrating my rescue Siamese. He has quite the personality and provides me with endless laughs, as you can probably tell from the picture below!

Since my wife is on spring break this week she gets to see what Lola, our rescue doggie, does when we are at work. This was from Monday morning shortly after I left for work and Lola is on my side of the bed.

This is Minnie. She’s one of four cats in our house. She was adopted from a shelter after being rescued as a scared and hungry kitten alone in a cemetery. The shelter considered her to be “special needs” because she has just one kidney. (she’s no different from the other cats in the house, no special treatment needed)

Flat-coated retrievers are the best!!! Here’s a picture of my old man. He’s at least half flat-coated but we have no idea what else is mixed in.
