Yup, the remote data collector is the easiest way to go for any number of remote offices from which to collect data. The STunnel method for data safety is the lightest weight and LogMeIn Hamachi is probably the easiest.

2009-10-01T06:01:56.000Z
https://community.spiceworks.com/t/need-advice-and-tips-for-setting-up-spiceworks-for-msp-use/32635/3
@type":"Person
scottalanmiller
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/scottalanmiller"}},{"@type":"Answer

If you are looking for new functionality from the client side of the help desk, I’m afraid that that is severely limited right now. From an interface perspective you can do a lot to customize the look and feel of the portal, though.

As an MSP, though, the portal interface is likely not going to be useful to you as the authentication mechanism is not extendable to your clients.

2009-10-30T16:15:30.000Z
https://community.spiceworks.com/t/need-advice-and-tips-for-setting-up-spiceworks-for-msp-use/32635/5
@type":"Person
scottalanmiller
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/scottalanmiller"}},{"@type":"Answer

You could build a different portal “tab” for each client and embedd that tab into a specific web page for each client using iFrames.

Spiceworks 4.5 is going to include routing for in-bound tickets. That way you have tickets from specific clients go to specific support staff.

2009-11-02T05:40:06.000Z
https://community.spiceworks.com/t/need-advice-and-tips-for-setting-up-spiceworks-for-msp-use/32635/6
@type":"Person
craigm
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/craigm"}}]}}

Install Spiceworks at your office/location. Then at each clients site install spiceworks following the remote data collector How-To . That will combine all the data from your individual clients offices into one Spiceworks database for you.
If you don’t want to combine the data, then I would just install a stand alone at each office and make sure you have a way to connect to it via the web (logmein, VPN, etc)
