It was worse once I could see inside with the help of a ladder.

You would think so but when they swapped isps they left the old equipment and dust in there and stacked the new stuff on top. Plus they used the only data run to the main office printer to run fax/alarm phone signals and left the client unable to print.

Better, than the networking equipment being below the washer…

So does the spin cycle make everything go faster?

The humidity will help keep ESD from killing something…
I used to work in a place where my “office” was in an old janitors closet. It had a ladder for roof access and a wash basin. The faucet for that basin would drip from the hot water side fairly often and would be great for making it “Steamy” in my office in the winter time. Did I mention the HVAC didn’t really do anything for that room?

I’ve seen much better and I’ve definitely seen worse. Did feng shui that bad boy and have some “after” photos to share?

That looks like a dentist’s office. Seen many demarcs like that.

Is there enough oomph in the UPS to finish the cycle in the machines? lol

At least the equipment isn’t so filthy it can’t be identified? While working for an ISP back in 2003 I got sent out with another guy to move equipment at a site across the state. Turned out in was in a small room connected to a machine shop with no door. Equipment was covered in about 1/4" of grease and metal shavings, we had to scrap it off the sides of the rack just to find the screws so we could remove the equipment from the rack and try to figure out how to clean it. Surprised any of it was still working and it was not a fun job to do in the middle of the night without any cleaning supplies.

As long as you use the “He” detergent it’ll boost the efficiency of everything else. Sounds like a win to me.

Hope there are braided water supply hoses on the back of that washer…

Dermatology practice here. Must be a health care thing. When I first started, the rack was in the basement, by the laundry, with about 1/4" of dust caking every surface. The basement walls of the old house were stone and part of the floor is just exposed dirt, so the humidity in that space was always over 80%. Smelled of must and laundry detergent.

The worst thing to me is: The Health Clinic probably thinking: “Great job, all the equipment in one place out of sight with a door to keep the sound out.”

It’s a wonder that equipment didn’t overheat when the dryer was running.
