Hi Everyone,

Need help resetting a SPICEWORKS NETWORK MONITOR installation.

I replaced the previous IT Administrator and before he left he created a SPICEWORKS account for me.

Unfortunately he didn’t create a user for NETWORK MONITOR installation. For this reason I need to either reset the credentials on that installation or add my account to it.

Can someone help me out please? Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

The Network Monitor uses the Community credentials to log on. You’d have to reset his community password in order to be able to log on. There isn’t a way to add you as a user without having access to the Network Monitor first.

Last resort would be to uninstall the Network Monitor and install it again with you as the admin.

If I don’t know his community password I can’t really login to reset it.

I guess the only way is to reinstall the app.
